Izaya Orihara Durarara!! played @ projectmarvelous Tsumi | Discord: Tsumi#4313 | tseutsumi HMD | IC Inbox • Appearance Izaya Orihara stands at 175 cm (5'9") with brown eyes and black hair. He's 25 but will always tell you he's 22. He weighs 58 kg (128 lbs) and has a lean build thanks to his Parkour activities. He is a handsome young man. On the outside. • Abilities Izaya has a good number of abilities. He is a genius tactician. He is able to gather information through talking with others and searching for any information available to him. He uses this ability to gather information and draw lines of allegiances and factions in the city of Ikebukuro. He does this by assuming online personas and working to gain information and informants around the area he is in. This gives him an advantage of quickly accessing political and power structures and learning where certain people sit in the hierarchy and factions of an area. Izaya is also a master of parkour and freerunning. He most likely honed these skills while being chased around the city by Shizuo. He is able to fluidly move and dodge around attacks and from rather large objects being thrown at him. He lean leap rather good distances as well as use his legs to spin a full 360 degrees on a metal bar without using his hands. On top of this, Izaya has also shown skill in using pocket knives and throwing knives. He was able to use three throwing knives to bring down a sign on the side of a building once, as well as using just one knife to cut down a street light. It is most likely this was due to the knives being incredibly sharp and made out of some special metal rather than pure strength on his part. Yet he was able to stop a katana with just a pocket knife, meaning his knives may all be specially made. Izaya has also been shown to be able to partially shave a person's head and slice the straps of a handbag without anyone noticing, showing he has great reflexes and a keen ability to misdirect the eye. Izaya also has a rather high pain threshold, taking hits from trash cans thrown at him by Shizuo as well as kicks and punches from skilled human fighters. This gives Izaya another edge as he's able to not only dodge but be able to keep going should he be hit. Izaya is also a decent actor, playing with expectations and emotions. He has tricked a rather decent number of people that he was suicidal at one point and convinced others to die with him. These times ended up with people either killing themselves or being knocked unconscious and left to feel miserable after being tricked by him. • Residence Address: District 107. Izaya's home has a nice wall sized wide window for his office in the front of the house. The front door opens into the office section of the house rather than a sitting room or living room. Izaya keeps the door deeper into the house locked at all times with two locks. Deeper inside is simply his bedroom and restroom. The kitchen is accessible from the office area with an island separating the two rooms.

Romance Sex Fighting Killing Mind Reading IC YES YES YES YES YES OOC YES YES YES YES YES • Additional Notes Due to Izaya's personality and his hobby of observing humans, I'm posting this permissions post. Izaya enjoys observing humans because he loves them. He loves all humans, completely, irrationally, and eternally. He finds humans are most interesting when they are put into terrible circumstances. To see this, he often will organize and manipulate the circumstances around someone to drive them to their lowest, just to see how they react. He does this in several different ways. Below will be descriptions of how he does this. Just go through them and comment at the end with which ones you're okay with and which you aren't. A) General trolling/information mining - As my username for Izaya hints, he enjoys trolling people. This means he'll trick them with half-truths and information. He does this mostly out of boredom for some form of amusement. This can be anything from just sending them random texts from someone else's communicator to moving items in their house to make them think someone has broken in. This often includes Izaya snooping and stealing communicators to gain information about people. So for this one, let me know what Izaya can dig up about your character through the network or snooping around in their homes. Examples: Izaya makes fun of Mikado Ryugamine's name by saying it sounds like an airconditioner. He might also steal someone's phone to send their contacts texts impersonating them to cause slight confusion to creating distance in the relationship. That sort of thing. B) Gathering Followers - One of Izaya's greatest talents is approaching people and convincing them he has their best interests at heart. He's good at figuring out what people want or need and uses it to his advantage. He enjoys gathering people who will either work with him while hating the experience or manipulating them into a sort of cult-like worship of him. He usually reserves this for people who truly interest him and will take his time to gather them into his fold. Even if it means burning the bridges between them and all of their other positive CR to leave them no choice. C) Terrible Circumstances - As I said in the beginning paragraph, Izaya loves seeing people in terrible circumstances. He loves to see people react as their world falls apart around them. He can do a lot to make this happen. Frame them for crimes. Manipulating circumstances and scenarios to cause those closest to them to be hurt. Even taking what they care about most away from them. Selling out someone to their worst enemies. He can do any and all of these things to someone and all because he loves humans. Example: Framing Shizuo for at least two crimes. D) CW: Suicide Here. Skip this paragraph if it's an issue. One of Izaya's favorite hobbies is pretending to be someone online who is contemplating suicide. He does this to find others who have similar thoughts and reached out to them to form a suicide pact. He learns as much as he can about them before they meet. He gets them to agree to die with him, only to dash the illusion. He enjoys to point out the terrible they are for wanting to die and without actually saying it, eggs them toward committing the act alone. Or he drugs them with the illusion that they are dying only for them to wake up alone and dumped somewhere. Then he disappears from that person's life forever. Ain't that nice?
